Children & Young People
I have a background in art therapy and many years experience in using art and other expressive modalities with children and young people in the therapy space. In counselling sessions, art can be used alongside traditional approaches, enhancing self expression and offering a different way to allow people to communicate what is needed. |

Adults I work with adults of all ages providing a safe and confidential space to explore and make sense of a wide range of life challenges and emotional difficulties. Through a collaborative process, individuals can explore current difficulties and past past adversities, utilising evidence based approaches to promote healing and personal growth. |

For the past 21 years I have worked as a school counsellor (K-12), working with children, young people and their families in the school setting. I specialise in utilising expressive and creative approaches to support people in telling their story, developing a shared understanding of their unique experience and challenges and fostering positive growth and change. EMDR Therapy
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is an evidence based psychotherapy used to address the impact of adverse or traumatic experiences in the lives of children, young people and adults. As an accredited EMDR practitioner, I specialise in incorporating expressive approaches to support children, young people and adults in identifying the intrusive memories, thoughts and feelings that are impacting their lives that then go on to inform the focus of reprocessing. |
About Me
I am a mum of two adult lads who are making their way in the world and a kelpie cross named Ruby Tuesday.
I enjoy spending time at the beach and socialising with family and good friends and love pretty much all things creative.
I am currently pursing an interest in ceramics and am enjoying learning about the many things you can create with clay.

For a standard 55 minute session the fee is $150
Saskia is a registered NSW Victims of Crime counselling provider.
Private Health Insurance
If you have private health insurance, you may be entitled to a rebate from your insurer depending on your cover.
